Who We Are

quote-my-roof.com is operated by Bastion Ventures LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. Our mailing address is 30 N Gould St 62429, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States. We are an independent lead generation and comparison platform that connects homeowners with licensed roofing contractors. We are not a roofing contractor and do not perform roofing services. Our service is free for homeowners. We earn referral fees from contractors and third-party lead-distribution platforms when a homeowner is matched and contacted.

Information We Collect

When you use our quote form, we collect the information you provide directly: ZIP code, street address, city, state, project type (replacement, repair, new construction), roofing material, project timeline, number of stories, insurance-claim status, homeowner status, full name, email address, and phone number.

We also collect information automatically when you visit the site: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, referring URL, pages visited, time on site, click-through interactions, UTM and click-ID parameters in inbound URLs (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, gclid, fbclid, msclkid), and a TrustedForm consent certificate documenting your consent to be contacted.

We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, financial-account numbers, government IDs, biometric data, geolocation more precise than ZIP/city, or any "sensitive personal information" as defined under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you submit through the quote form to match you with licensed roofing contractors and to share your details with those contractors so they can provide quotes and contact you. We use automatically-collected information to operate, secure, and improve the site, measure marketing campaign performance, and analyze site usage. We may use your email address to send service-related communications (e.g. confirmation that your request was received).

How We Share Your Information — The Lead-Distribution Chain

When you submit the quote form, your information is transmitted through a chain of third-party processors and lead buyers. Specifically:

1. ActiveProspect, Inc. (LeadConduit and TrustedForm). We use ActiveProspect's LeadConduit service to validate, route, and audit every submission, and TrustedForm to capture an independent certificate of consent. ActiveProspect acts as a service provider/processor on our behalf. Their privacy policy: activeprospect.com/privacy-policy.

2. Lead Prosper, Inc. We transmit your information to Lead Prosper, an independent lead-distribution platform that operates a real-time bidding ("ping-post") marketplace. Lead Prosper auctions your lead to its network of pre-vetted buyers. Their privacy policy: leadprosper.io/privacy-policy.

3. Yep Ads (operated by Yeppon DM, S.L.) and its network of pre-vetted contractor buyers. Yep Ads is the performance-marketing network that contracts with Lead Prosper and the contractor buyers who ultimately receive your information. Their privacy policy: yepads.com/privacy-policy.

4. Up to three (3) licensed roofing contractors selected from the network. These independent businesses receive your full contact and project information so they can call, text, or email you with quotes. Each contractor's use of your information is governed by their own privacy practices.

We also share limited usage and event data with the analytics and advertising platforms listed in the "Cookies and Tracking" section below.

Sale and Sharing of Personal Information (CCPA / CPRA Disclosure)

For California residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act, the disclosure of your contact and project information to lead-distribution platforms and contractor buyers in exchange for referral fees may constitute a "sale" or "share" of personal information. We disclose this transparently rather than rely on a narrow technical interpretation.

Categories of personal information we sell or share, the categories of recipients, and the business purpose:

Identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address, postal address) and characteristics (homeowner status, project details) — shared with lead-distribution platforms and contractor buyers for the purpose of providing you with roofing quotes. Internet or other electronic activity (referring URL, ad-click IDs, browser metadata) — shared with analytics and advertising platforms for campaign measurement and optimization.

You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. To exercise this right, email [email protected] with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" and include the email address and phone number you used when submitting the quote form. We will process your request within 15 business days. We do not discriminate against consumers who exercise their privacy rights.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to:

(a) Know what personal information we have collected about you and how it has been used and disclosed.
(b) Access a copy of the personal information we have about you.
(c) Correct inaccurate personal information.
(d) Delete your personal information, subject to legal-retention exceptions.
(e) Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (see the section above).
(f) Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect or use sensitive personal information for inferring characteristics, so this right is moot for our service).
(g) Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) Consent

By submitting the quote form and checking the consent box, you provide your prior express written consent under the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (47 U.S.C. § 227) and applicable state law for up to three (3) licensed roofing contractors matched through our network to contact you at the phone number, email address, and physical address you provide, using automatic telephone dialing systems, prerecorded or artificial voice messages, SMS/text messages, and email, regarding your roofing project.

You acknowledge that consent is not a condition of any purchase, that standard message and data rates may apply, and that consent applies even if the phone number you provided is registered on a federal or state Do Not Call list. You may revoke consent at any time by contacting [email protected] or replying STOP to any text message.

Your consent is independently captured and timestamped via an ActiveProspect TrustedForm certificate, which we and the contractors we match you with retain as evidence of consent.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site and analyze usage. The third-party tools we use are:

Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — aggregated site-usage analytics, with IP-anonymization enabled.
PostHog (PostHog Inc.) — product analytics and funnel analysis.
Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.) — advertising-campaign measurement and audience optimization on Facebook and Instagram.
ActiveProspect TrustedForm — consent-event recording on the quote form.

Data Retention

We retain personal information you submit through the quote form for up to seven (7) years for legal-record, dispute-resolution, and TCPA-defense purposes. Aggregated and de-identified data may be retained indefinitely. Analytics and tracking-cookie data are retained according to the providers' default retention windows (typically 14 to 26 months for Google Analytics). Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. All form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we do not warrant absolute security.

International Users

Our service is intended for residents of the United States only. If you access the site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your country.

Children

Our service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of the page for at least 30 days. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
